Škoda Epiq technology
Power that flows both ways
With bidirectional charging (V2L and V2H), the Škoda Epiq can do more than just draw energy – it can share it. The high-voltage battery can supply power to external devices, turning your car into a practical mobile energy source whenever you need it. Whether it’s charging an e-bike, powering camping equipment or supporting everyday outdoor activities, the Epiq gives you the flexibility to take electricity beyond the road, while Vehicle-to-Home functionality also allows the car to feed electricity back into a compatible home energy system when needed.

Driving modes
As with other Škoda models, the Epiq is available with Driving Mode Select. This allows the driver to adjust the vehicle’s accelerator response, available torque, top speed, power-steering assistance, and the intensity of the air-conditioning.

Energy regeneration and braking
Regenerative braking is a process where the vehicle’s kinetic energy is converted into electricity, which is then stored in a high-voltage battery. Cars with internal combustion engines convert kinetic energy from the friction between brake pads and brake discs into heat, which is not used in any way and is dissipated into the air. Regenerative braking therefore makes efficient use of energy and helps to increase the range of the Epiq by partially recharging the battery while the car is in motion.

One-pedal driving
Make every journey smoother with the new One-pedal driving function. In B mode, the car can slow all the way to a standstill, making urban driving easier and helping to recover energy more efficiently. The level of deceleration can be adjusted in the infotainment menu or using the paddles, and the selected setting is remembered for the next drive.

Heat pump
The Epiq’s optional heat pump results in considerable savings on the electricity needed to heat and cool the interior. The system harnesses waste heat from the traction battery and other high-voltage components to warm the interior.

Designed to slip through the wind
To maximise efficiency and extend its range, the Škoda Epiq features a carefully optimised aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient of just 0.275. A fully flat underbody smooths airflow beneath the vehicle, while air curtains and aerodynamically refined wheels reduce turbulence around the front bumper and wheel arches. Active cooling shutters open only when needed, minimising air resistance in everyday driving. Additional details such as the optimised roof spoiler, integrated finlets and precisely shaped rear elements further enhance airflow management, contributing to improved efficiency and confident stability at higher speeds.
