ŠKODA handover Pope Car to Charity

ŠKODA Ireland today handed over the keys of their Rapid model that was used by Pope Francis during his time in Dublin last August to Crosscare, the Social Support Agency based on Clonliffe Road in Dublin.

The charity was selected by Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin and the catholic charity provides a range of social care, community and youth work services across the Dublin Archdiocese.

The registration number of the vehicle handed over was 182-D-9093, which, when the digits 9093 are inverted, spells out the word POPE. The second vehicle used by Pope Francis in Knock will be donated to the Foyle Search and Rescue charity based in Derry.
