ŠKODA Ireland has partnered with the Czech Embassy in Dublin to celebrate Czech fashion designers in a dedicated fashion show on 29th November at Dublin City Hall. The ŠKODA Czech Fashion Show, which is the first show of its kind, aims to introduce Czech designers to Irish retailers and media.
ŠKODA’s headquarters are based in Mladá Boleslav, in the Czech-Republic and the company worked with the Czech Embassy here to create an event that would support emerging and established Czech talent.
Designers taking part in the show include Martina Nevařilová who graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Prague and has since launched her fashion brand, NAVARILA, which produces designer knitwear for women. Prague-born Hana Havelková is a former winner of the Mode Designer Cup in Frankfurt and will also be showcasing her creations. Monika Drápalová takes inspiration from the poetry of everyday life and turns it into beautiful collections for both men and women to enjoy. Another designer who will be taking part is Eva Brzáková who launched her career in 2007 and continues to wow her fans with bold creations each season.
