The automatic flashing function of the Yeti’s brake lights during heavy braking warns trailing traffic that you may be stopped, thereby reducing the chances of a rear impact.

The Yeti Elegance includes clever features such as front fog lights with corner function, which helps illuminate dark areas while turning at slow speeds. The addition of day time lights increase your car’s visibility during the day.
In situations where an accident is inevitable, passive security assumes great importance. The Yeti’s solid body design allied to strong doorsills and columns offers great protection. The car features seven airbags - including a driver knee airbag – safeguarding all car occupants in the event of a collision. All of this is standard on all models except Active.

The most precious and at risk members of your family are your children. That’s why the ISO Fix fitting system is provided as standard in all ŠKODA vehicles. It means your kids can be secured safely, quickly and correctly in the car. 
Should the airbags be deployed during an accident the fuel pump will switch off while the fuel supply and certain electrical circuits will automatically disengage to prevent fire. To alert other road users of the accident the hazard lights will automatically turn on together with the interior lights. To allow escape the central locking will unlock automatically.
