Up to now the Superb model (in saloon) has offered customers advanced equipment such as TSI and DSG technology as well as the now famous TwinDoor rear door operation. Believe it or not the new Superb Combi has even more to offer.

First of all there is the gigantic 1,865 litres of luggage capacity with some new clever and functional storage solutions. Overhead you can have a massive two-part tilt and sliding panoramic sunroof to enhance your feeling of spaciousness, while if you so choose an electric opening and closing rear boot door adds further convenience.

The electronically controlled panoramic sunroof can fold and tilt. When completely open a wind deflector limits noise and air. The sunroof is made from tinted glass; ensuring minimum light and heat penetration into the cabin that could cause unnecessary discomfort. The roof controls are within easy reach of the driver and front passenger. When not in use the panoramic sunroof can be covered by the electrically controlled net blind.

Electrically Controlled Rear Door

The elegant but dynamic lines of the car are completed by the trendy yet practical roof bars. Also new to the Superb Combi is the newly shaped rear group headlights; they are one of the main design elements of the new Superb Combi.

One of our proudest achievements is the addition of the electrically operated rear boot door. By using a button on the remote control key it is possible to open and close the door. Dirty hands can now be a thing of the past thanks to hands-free operation.

New Luggage Space Concept

The variable luggage space is one of great benefits of the new model. The basic volume of 633 litres can be increased, after folding the back seats down, to up to 1,865 litres, allowing for the most bulky of loads.

A new concept for the Superb Combi is a floor with fastening elements to secure luggage consisting of a system with integrated aluminum strips and an automatic roll cover. A removable LED torch neatly located in the luggage compartment will always come in useful. For safety and expediency the boot area and the space behind the car is illuminated by lights located on the inner side of the rear door.

A loading edge height of only 600 mm and an extendable floor section enables the upper edge of the rear bumper to be covered avoiding damage and significantly facilitating the handling of bulky or heavy luggage.
