The greatest attention is given to quality procedure at our company. From car development to manufacturing, sales and after-sales customer service. The reason is simple: Your satisfaction is our number one priority.

Pressing

We produce ŠKODA body parts (cast parts) at three pressing factories that house 14 stamping lines. Using the most advanced equipment we produce cast parts of for over 1,300 Fabia vehicles or 860 Octavia’s each and every day.

Painting

Each ŠKODA rolling off the line needs to be painted to the highest standard. This is why we have built new modern painting facilities in Mladá Boleslav and Kvasiny that utilise automated and robotic manufacturing processes to paint our cars. We also use materials that are kind to our environment; such as water-soluble topcoats.

Casting

ŠKODA Auto has a long history of producing cast moulds for engines and gearboxes. As early as 1962 we became the first in Europe to use a high-pressure pouring process to produce intricate and complex aluminum cylinder blocks. Moulds from our foundries are also used in other factories in the VW Group. We are continuously modernising our foundries and equipping them with the latest technology and technical equipment.

Engines and gearbox production

ŠKODA Auto’s facility to produce engines, axles and gearboxes is one of the most advanced within the entire VW Group. We produce modern three-cylinder 1.2 HTP engines for ŠKODA, VW and Seat. We also assemble the MQ 200 gearboxes for VW Group and ŠKODA Auto vehicles. These gearboxes are noted for their ability to offer a comfortable and quiet transmission. We also assemble front and rear axles for the Fabia, Roomster and Octavia as well as rear axles for the Superb and the Octavia Tour.

Final assembly

The ŠKODA Fabia and Octavia vehicles roll off the production line at our plant in Mladá Boleslav. Our Roomster and the brand’s largest model, the Superb are manufactured at the newly reconstructed and expanded factory branch in Kvasiny. Our subsidiary factory in Vrchlabí assembles the Octavia Tour model as well as some special models such as the luxury L&K, Scout, RS and 4x4 models. We also assemble vehicles at additional international manufacturing and assembly plants.
