Intelligent Light Assistant

This assistant automatically controls the use of high beams. From a speed of 60 km/h on, and in sufficient darkness, it automatically turns on the high beam. When closing in on a vehicle ahead (or in the case of an oncoming vehicle), the system automatically dims the headlights in order not to obfuscate other road users.

Parking Assistant

The Park Assistant is the ideal system when the driver needs to park quickly and accurately. It reduces the stress the driver feels when being pressured to park and minimises the number of scrapes and dents a car may pick up from parking in a tight space. Simply press the Park Assist button, take your hands off the steering wheel and whilst you control the speed, the car will manoeuvre itself into the parking space, communicating with the driver through voice instructions and symbols on the Maxi DOT display.

Start-Stop System

When the vehicle is stationary, the engine runs uselessly, while still consuming fuel and emitting pollutants. That is why the Start-Stop system automatically switches the engine off after stopping the vehicle, reducing instantly the engine’s fuel consumption. The system does not require any input from the driver and allows immediate acceleration, thus retaining the driving comfort. The Start-Stop system is activated automatically after starting the engine. If the driver stops the vehicle after a certain period of driving, shifts into neutral, releases the clutch pedal (and other conditions are met), the engine switches off automatically. As soon as the driver presses the clutch to shift into a gear, the engine starts immediately. This allows the car to accelerate as readily as if the engine was running on idle for the whole time. The Start-Stop system can be manually switched off at any time. The display in the instrument cluster shows its current state.

Lane Assistant

The Lane Assistant recognises an unintended departure from the lane (providing a visual message in the cluster instrument) and initiates corrective steering. The system is active at speeds above 65 km/h, under the condition that there are recognisable lane markings on the road and the turn signal has not been turned on prior to crossing a marking.

Adaptive Cruise Control

The Adaptive Cruise Assistant not only maintains a set speed but also, using built-in radar, keeps the separation from the vehicle in front of you. Your car thus speeds up or slows down as needed, making driving simpler and more comfortable. This function is especially useful when driving on freeways or highways. It also helps reducing the risk of accidents due to lack of attention. However, its main benefit is greater driving comfort, as both feet can rest during long trips.

Traffic Sign Recognition

With the Traffic Sign Recognition system, you will never again overlook a no passing or speed limit sign. A multifunction camera capable of recognizing signs monitors the area in front of the car and compares any signs found with examples stored in its database. The speed limit or no passing warning that is displayed on the instrument panel or on the navigation system panel can save you from many unpleasant consequences.

Heated windshield

The heated windshield will come most handy to drivers who often park outside. Pressing the button on the center console will turn the heating on, warm the windshield and loosen the frost, which can then be removed with the wipers.
