Raymond Leddy, Marketing Manager, ŠKODA Ireland explained,  “Irish new car purchasers have always been subject to unpredictable delivery charges in some cases of up to €1,000. These charges vary from brand to brand and even within brands can differ greatly from dealer to dealer. To make the process more transparent for the consumer, ŠKODA Ireland is initiating a new ‘on the road’ recommended universal flat rate of €600 across the range which will be consistent across all ŠKODA retailers and effective from the 1st of July, 2011.”

Continuing on the theme of delivering value to Irish motorists Leddy revealed a new finance offering for consumers interested in purchasing pre-owned vehicles, “To make our pre-owned vehicles even more attractive we are introducing 6.9% APR finance especially for used ŠKODA’s. This is one of the most competitive rates on the market available exclusively from ŠKODA Authorised retailers nationwide.”
